4th Grade Book Club

This cutter shape is one that I didn't figure I would be using a lot. But I have found that book club groups LOVE to celebrate the completion of their selected reading!  This group selected to have the girls' names on the binder instead of the book title.
You can find this cutter at

Hannah's Birthday Rock Climbing Party

Hannah's favorite colors (purple, green & yellow) were requested for a multi-cookie party favor with a rock climbing theme. I kept hearing "Oh Beautiful for Spacious Skies" going through my head as I iced the mountains purple LOL!

Please Hurry Spring!

Like most I am ready for Spring! I was very happy when my new daffodil cutter arrived from Because of our deer population, we have a LOT of daffodils on our property. Thank goodness they come in so many colors! Here is the beginning of many color assortments of daffodils....

Welcome Baby Tyler!

Cookies designed for my cousin's second child's arrival. More importantly their first child, Allie, became a BIG sister!  For Allie's t-shirt I was inspired from  bridesmaids' dresses designed by The Sweet Adventures of SugarBelle's Feb. 17th posting. The baby announcement cookie was wrapped as a favor to pass out to friends who come to visit and meet Tyler for the first time.

Last of the Valentines!

Here are the last of the Valentine's day orders.... The Bear Cookies I had first posted in December, but for Valentine's I decided on a larger heart that could be personalized. I really loved using this red with white polka dot ribbon for this holiday. It can be found at Nashville Wraps under "organza" ribbon.

I have to give a shout out to a fellow cookie-blogger Pam from Cookie Crazie for the idea for this double heart. One of her designs for her double hearts was a box of candy, which I thought was fantastic! I saw her bow on the "top" of the candy box and tried to do a ribbon across the two hearts. I came close to what I was looking for, but I still need to fine tune it.

The Sign of Love

My Sister-in-law is an interpreter for students in a local school district. I thought these would be a fun valentine gift to pass out to her students. Here I decided to try Luster Dust to paint on like nail polish. Not sure it was worth the effort, but I did like the way the thumbnail turned out. Next time I might just ice the nails and "dry brush" a pearl luster to get that sheen of freshly coated nails or maybe try some disco dust?
