Busy Busy Busy
It has been a whirlwind these past few weeks at The Painted Cookie! Posts below are a sampling of all the designs that have been going out this season. Wishing all of our followers a very Blessed Holiday and look forward to new designs for 2012!
"Believe" Ornament
Our most popular favor this season was our "Believe" Ornament.

Santa's Sleigh
A fun, simple design for a Christmas Sleigh. Snow piped with a #16 star tip was dusted with Pearl Luster Dust and the rail is painted with Gold Luster Dust.
Holiday Champagne
Finally had a chance to use this champagne cutter that we have had for a couple of years. Painted foil and label border with gold luster dust with lemon vodka. Detailed with holly and berries to celebrate this holiday wedding.
Silver-Dusted Snowflakes
Snowflake cookies iced in light gray and then dry-brushed with NuSilver Luster Dust and finished with light blue details.

My first Quinceanera
I received my first Quinceanera order. This is a celebration for a Spanish girl's 15th birthday. I have had this cutter from Coppergifts for years and hadn't used it yet, but this was the perfect occasion! The birthday girl selected her school colors of white, Navy & Cornflower blue with a request of "not too frilly" of a design. We are happy to say Sophie was very pleased with her cookie design!
Airplane Wedding Favors
Among the Thanksgiving rush of cookies, I had been designing with a bride coming up to CT for an "after" celebration of her wedding the Friday after Thanksgiving. Going back and forth on colors and ribbon this design was approved and executed! Congrats to Sue & Chuck on their Wedding celebration!
