Celebrating 50

This month I turned 50 and had a wonderful time celebrating. One of my favorite was a trip up to New Hampshire and Vermont. We stopped in to visit King Arthur Flour. I wish they were closer because I would love to take some baking courses in their fabulous kitchens.

And I couldn't leave without sitting in their famous chair!

  1. Susan, Happy 50th!!! I just turned 52 on Oct. 19th, we are both October babies. Isn't KAF wonderful? My friend and I went last year, we stayed in VT, and took a pies and tarts class. This was on my "bucket list", and even though the renovations were not done, it was fabulous! Being a very sentimental person, I even had to keep myself from tearing up a bit, mid-piecrust rollout, when I realized I was finally there! Living in AZ, I really miss the fall colors, so that was huge for me, too. Again, happy birthday! Nancy

    1. Thank you so much Nancy! I loved KAF and wish it was closer too, though we are only 4-1/2 hours away. I walked away with a some great large cooling racks for the new shop. Nancy do you have a cookie page?
